Welcome to Good2Go Mixed Martial Arts! Before stepping onto the mats, it's important to understand the dos and don'ts while visiting or participating as a member. They are listed below.

Respect your Coaches and Team Members.
• Complete the waiver before stepping on the mats.
• Remain focused during drilling, ask questions when needed.
• Slap hands before and after live rolls and sparring.
• Speak about others as if they were standing next to you.
• Maintain integrity with all; report concerns to a coach promptly.
• Spatial awareness, priority of mat space goes to higher belts.
• Members and visitors are welcome to use the bathrooms to change and shower if needed.
• Members and visitors store gear under the benches.
• The office is for coach and comp team use only.
Take care of Yourself.
• Shower before and after training. Keep your nails trimmed, teeth brushed, deodorant applied.
• Bring extra uniforms to change between if staying for more than one class.
• Recovery is important; use rest days wisely, come nourished, hydrated and well rested.
• Secure clearance from a licensed professional before returning to training after injury.
Take care of the Gym.
• Sweep, spray, mop after each class or session; vacuum as needed, clean and hang up loaner gear.
• Take the trash out if you see it's full.
• Leave with what you brought.
Take care of your Gear.
• Hang gear to dry after disinfecting.
• Ensure quality gear is used when sparring.
• Purchase new gear as needed.
Team Training Time:
• Ensure you've been attending classes regularly before attending.
• Ensure you have team members coming to meet you.
• Take care of the gym before leaving.
Stay Connected
•Follow our Instagram and Facebook page stories for updates about last minute cancellations and upcoming events!
Whatever your 100% looks like, bring it.
• Everyone is on different levels, have different goals, and a different pace in achieving them. Give grace.
Disrespecting the Gym.
• No hanging from or misusing the bags.
• No lifting or tearing the mats from floors and/or walls.
• No leaving water bottles behind.
• No drop-ins.
• No skin infections. Membership can be paused.
• No attendance if sick. Membership can be paused.
• No competing without coach approval.
Disrespecting Members or Coaches.
• If you "ONLY SEE RED"...stop reading, go home.
• No slamming during jiu-jitsu classes.
• No elbows or knees to the head without pads.
• No sparring or live rolls without coach approval.
• Use situational awareness by pairing up with like sized, gender, and skill when possible. Never go outside your comfort zone when pairing with others.
Team Training Time:
• No admittance without regularly attending class.
• No drilling techniques that have not been taught. This is a protective measure.
• No sparring without a Coach present.
• MEMBERS ONLY, this is not an open gym time. Cross training times are AD-HOC and determined by competition team and coaches.
Shoes are for the bathroom and foyer only.
• No going into the bathroom barefoot or while wearing your mat shoes.
• No regular shoes on the mats.
Coach, if you are a Coach at our Club; otherwise:
• No instructing, coaching, advising, guiding or, distracting others from the direction of the Coaching Staff.
• Cheering on your fellow team member is always encouraged.
NOTE: Drama can be kept elsewhere.
• Ego, emotions, and/or pride, can be left at the door.
• We hold integrity, honesty, hard work, and discipline at our core.
• Coaches have the ability to revoke any membership at any time.
